Flower Essence Therapy continues to grow and we are dedicated to offering quality educational programs which can help anchor this important healing modality in a truly professional manner.

The educational programs of the Flower Essence Society are based on the premise that flower essence therapists should have a thorough grounding in both the clinical uses of flower essences and the theoretical foundations of the therapy. This includes an understanding of the soul-spiritual nature of the human being, and of the healing forces of the natural world.

We also believe in the maxim, "Healer, Heal Thyself." Therefore our programs combine a retreat atmosphere with powerful psycho-spiritual tools. This creates an opportunity for therapists to apply the principles of soul hygiene and growth to their own life experiences. Because we value conscious inner development, FES classes are not a place for those seeking drug-induced or out-of-body psychic experiences.

Many participants in our training programs have told us that their experiences have helped them make major changes in their work and lives through a deeper realization of their own life lessons and life purpose.

Class time is balanced between a variety of activities including:

• Lectures and questions

• Group discussion

• Flower slide show presentations

• Nature walks

• Practice in counseling and flower essence selection with a partner

• Artistic activities

• Breaks for rest and assimilation

• Group meals and social time
