A visit to our South American neighbors

A Photo-Essay by Richard Katz

I was privileged to spend four days with Chilean flower essence practitioners, sharing images and inspiration from the healing language of the flowers. In turn, I was inspired and informed by learning from the Chilean practitioners their insights into the therapeutic powers of the flower essences from their extensive clinical experience. On the last day of the class, we held a practitioner symposium, in which we heard from a number of flower essence therapists doing social service work.

Throughout the classes, I was touched by the warmth and enthusiasm of the participants, which included local songs and dance, and an original musical composition by guitarist Alejandro Cañete, written especially for the occasion.

Guitarist Alejandro Cañete serenades the class.
